  Really beautiful guardans even in March. I can't wait to visit in the summer. £13 to get in was very well spent. Everything here is slickly put together. A top visit for the romantics amongst you. The house is neat to see but brief - the real star here is the gardens.

  Fantastic for a day out with your hiking boots. Went in spring when it was a little cold - should be gorgeous from May-September when the weather picks up. Plenty of parking. Lovely little brooks to see and hills to walk along. Overall, a great escape from the city.
